Buffalo State's Eclipse View and Do
August 21, 2017 12:30 - 4 pm
Free and open to the public!
Park in the R-14 Lot on Rockwell Rd (map below)
To see a TOTAL eclipse, you will have to travel to the path of totality. The path of totality for this year's Great American Eclipse runs from Oregon to South Carolina.
If you want to travel but haven't made plans yet, you need to make them now! Most if not all hotels are already full.
Like most of the U.S., Buffalo will experience a PARTIAL eclipse. From our view, about 3/4 of the Sun's disk will be covered by the Moon!
All solar eclipses need to be viewed SAFELY so you don't damage your eyes.
Join us on August 21 for an afternoon of safe eclipse viewing & fun and educational activities!
VIEW THE ECLIPSE SAFELY: Telescopes with solar filters & free eclipse glasses!
